Ok this year is I am trying many first in my raised beds. I am going with a mix of store bought transplants, with a few from friends, two from the local master gardeners. Also some I started from seed myself.

One of the purchased transplants was supposed to be a Mr. Stripey. Well a couple of fruit have set. They do not look like any of the pics I have seen of the Mr Stripey plants. At first I though maybe it was a Black Krim. Upon check of the bottom there is no tell tale navel on the bottom. It is rippled. I have another Mr Stripey that was a gift from a lady that buys a lot of my wife's crafts at the flea market. I know that one is definitely the real deal. It is the only one she saves seeds for. The leaves look the same on both. Buds look the same as well. I am attaching a pic of one of the larger green ones.
