I'm going to guess it's from Bonnie?

Black Cherry, as bred by Vince Sapp., is round.

Ive grown LOTS of Black Cherries because I use them in crossing.

Under certain conditions the Black Cherry fruits may not be round. This usually only lasts for a cluster or two and then they come out round.

I see it happen usually on the early fruits.

Soon you'll know either way, if it is just environment or you got a mix up.

I suggested Bonnie Plants, because when I tried to figure what was going on with my "black cherry, I found there have been many reports of mislabled black cherry from Bonnie which were actually black plum. I ended up pulling mine and trying again even though it was pretty late.

looking at it more closely, it is almost grape shaped now. Here is a picture... the (blurry) tomatoes in the background look more round.

Doesn't look like Black Cherry to me and I grow it every year.
