| Hello Again: I would like to give you an update on my garden following the the cold winter. I had seven fig trees aging over 13 years old. Five of them are alive, that is, their branches and trunks are all dead. I'm starting to get growth on botton of fig trees, not the branches. The other two fig trees are not producing any bottom growth at all. I intend to cut them dowm this fall five inches from the grown. They are being used now as tressles for my italian baseball bats and cucumber plants. I have recently planted over 100 tomatoe plants. Half of them are for making tomatoe sauce and other half are hybrids - dark blue tomatoes and yellow. I will let you know how I make out with my garden at end of July. Regards,, |
