| First year rookie growing tomatillo's and i am unsure about what that bulb like leaf thing is on my plant. |

| You know how tomatillos have a papery husk around them? That's what you're seeing here. Salsa verde coming soon...yum! |

| Thank you Jadie! That is exactly what I am trying to make and some regular salsa with roma tomatoes. My herbs are doing great and as of right now no aphids or Japanese beetles (crossing my fingers) |

| Just to let you know, the husk develops first and is empty. Then the fruit grows inside the husk until it fills the husk. Jim |

| Thanks Jim! Another question, once the husk is full are they ready to be harvested? Or, do I have to wait a little bit longer to harvest them? |
