Hi All, I am first time gardner. Built new beds in april - filled with SFG mix (cow manure + mushroom compost + organic hummus + peatmoss + vermiculite). Watering has been up and down mainly because of rains - sometimes it rains too much and sometimes nothing in a week. But I am waiting to see it wilt a little before i water (I have not watered in about 5-6 weeks now). Can any one please tell me if I am doing something wrong. Is this a disease. I have 5 other tomato plants - so i am trying to figure out if I can prevent this on the rest. Thanks and regards

Curling like that, along with the general appearance of your plant is usually due to stress, which can be caused by several factors - watering that you noted being just one of those. Over fertilizing or soil that is "too rich" can also curling and deformed leaves. One of my plants looked very similar even from mild juglone poisoning last year. Try to get a stable watering regimen, they should be fine. Djole

Thanks edweather. I read a lot over here and am trying my best. I enjoy being out there so it feels happy to see it grow well. Also my brother added some tomato-tone - he said a Tblspn for each plant about 6 inches away from the base. So I am thinking this is because of over fertilization - anything i should do now to correct this issue ?

One tablespoon of Tomato Tone is nowhere near over-fertilization. Actually it might be under-fertilizing. They can take alot more than that especially when the plants are growing at maximum. I think the instructions say that you can apply 3 tablespoons, 4 times per year. And that's a minimum...many people apply more. So,yes, correct the situation and add 3 tablespoons per plant now. Don't feel bad, I have a bias toward underfertilizing my plants too :-)
