Too much rain and now whiteflies

Hi!
The Chicago area was hit with about 5 inches of rain on Wednesday. When I finally slogged through the garden to the toms, I found that 2 of 12 were wilted. Shook the cages and white flies came out.

I have now placed the sticky traps around all plants and have sprayed with Dawn soap and water mix. Today, 4-5 plants are wilted.

Will they recover once the soil dries and I keep spraying? Or should I just replace them

Thanks!

RE: Too much rain and now whiteflies

to date we had 16 ¨rainfall over what regular year would bring. I am surprised that my toms did not become aquatic plants yet. Yes, all of mine are wilting as well, some more some less, there is standing water still between raised beds. Am not sure about white flies but water wise we should be fine, July and August traditionally drier months for us so even if we go over again it should be better from now on / I hope/
