this is my second year of tomato growing and I just wanted some opinions on what people think of this plant I know you were supposed to pluck certain things and trim certain branches I'm just not certain which ones to do what do you think

If you search YouTube for "pruning tomatoes" you'll see how some people do it, but is more a personal decision than a "should."

For a tomato in that size container I would just let it grow.

Or you can nip some shoots, up to you :-)

Your plant looks quite nice and healthy.
Right not, the first thing to do is decide on some kind of support system : CAGE, STAKE ?

Trimming and pruning is not needed at this stage. Then It will also depends on the growth habit of the plant you are growing. Then it also depend on how much your support system can handle. Container planting has its limitations.
