Hello there, fellow Gardeners! Today I managed to get myself into a bit of a mess. I picked up a large tomato plant for cheap, simply because it had two tags on it. No one could tell me what it could be, and I'm not sure if anyone here can either, seeing as it only has little pea-sized tomatoes growing on it. Would it be possible to identify if it's Celebrity or Hillbilly, if given good pictures, and/or detail shots of any part of the plant?

No, not possible to tell the difference just by looking at pictures of plants, both are RL, and while Hillbilly is indet, Celebrity is more of a semi-det. I guess you'll have to wait until you see the size and color of the fruits, Hillbilly being a typical gold/red bicolor and Celebrity being a stand medium sized red. Carolyn

Not to mention that it could be neither one. Given the tag situation there is a very good chance it suffered from the tag-switching bandits that get their kicks pulling and switching tags at so many places. Mislabeled plants are fairly common unfortunately. So don't worry about what it is, just enjoy it. Dave

Not to mention that it could be neither one. Given the tag situation -------------------- I like this one. There is a lot of suspense and drama and at the end you'll get some kind of tomatoes anyway. Anticipation is the spice of life.

Well, I suppose it's a real mystery then! I'll probably post a picture once it starts getting some color to its' tomatoes. :) Thank you guys!
