Growing Tomatoes

to crowded?

hello all first time poster here. I currently have to tomato plants in a large rubber made tub its about 31/2 by 2 wide and about 1 and some change deep soil. both plants are about 3 to 4 feet tall. one is growing tomatoes and one is not. my question is should i remove the plant with no tomatoes as my theory is the one that sprouted fruit first is taking all nutrients

What varieties are the two tomatoes? When did you plant them?

Some tomato varieties produce their fruit a month or two later than others.
