Broccoli or brussel sprouts, whatever did they sell you, if i were you i'd storm right back into the shop and demand a refund (make sure you remove all the damn green round things before you give them the plant back)!

Oh: Brussels sprouts! My favorite (among green veggies, anyway). Just send them all to me.

But before you send them, remove all the green round things or someone might think you mistreated them.

You can probably solve the pesky 'green thingies' problem by simply bringing in mini bouquets of lovely little yellow flowers as soon as they bloom.

murullo, everyone is teasing you. those little green things you are seeing on your tomato plants are tiny tomatoes. leave them alone & they will get bigger & red for you. the yellow blooms turn into tiny little green balls & then into big red tomatoes. don't take them off till they turn red, or you will never have good red tomatoes. nothing is wrong with your plants, you just need to be patient & let the plants do their job. o.k?

I am out of town for 4-5 days with a student watching my garden. When giving him the tour he pointed at the sugar pea vines and asked if they were tomatoes.

Its a good thing I am only gone for a short time, but I am nervous.
