Found a ton of flying aphids on my tomatoes today. Blasted the heck out of the plants over and under with my garden hose sprayer on flat spray.
Will have to keep an eye on it. On the plus side I saw a fire colored beetle a little bit later, appearing to happily eat some of the survivors of my water bombardment.
Been a really bad year for aphids. They were all over my eggplants and my chervil and parsley that are bolting are both covered with black aphids. Weirdly, those things only seem to like the plants that are bolting. My first year parsley doesn't have a single one on it.
