| Are you supposed to remove the bottom leaves that touch the ground on pepper plants? |

| The answer is yes. Pepper leaves catch nasty infections from the soil as do tomato leaves. I've found that out the hard way, many times. Certain pepper types can be very resistant though. Even the splash-up from rain can infect them. Laying down a layer of straw or untreated pine bark mulch will help prevent that. |
