Is this a sucker to prune?

I'm outside every few days to prune all of the 'normal' suckers growing from the crotches, but two different varieties have what looks like a sucker growing from the cluster of blossoms.

The photo is an Isis Cherry, but it's also happening on my Black From Tula.

Should I cut off the leading growth after the blossoms, or is this something that I should let grow? I don't need any more main stems, I have 3-4 per plant from bottom suckers that I let grow.

(sorry for the sideways pic)
