I'm in the L.A. Times

for my PVC cage design. More or less. Not the print

edition, but the online garden section.

On Saturday, the L.A. Times printed an article about

tomato cages entitled Best tomato cages: Six picks from the pros

One expert touted the almost useless circular cone-shaped

cages. Another mentioned cattle panels/CRW, but used

as a fence, not shaped into a cage.

No mention of the Florida weave nor the circular CRW cages.

Knowing for many years the popularity of the weave and the

CRW circular cages, I fired off an email about the lack of

them and my PVC cages.

I guess I wasn't the only one. They came out with a blog

post today with information on the Florida weave and my

PVC cages.

Here's the new article. Tomato cages: Readers see red over pros' picks

I feel better now. Even though I got second billing in

the online article. But, as they say, any publicity is

good publicity.
