Tomatoes are pretty tough. Even if they look really terrible, they probably won't completely die. They can sprout new branches and new roots from almost anywhere. Do you know what variety of tomato they are? What did you spray them with? If it was a liquid spray, was the sun shining directly on the wet plants? What were the bugs that you saw that motivated you to spray? How much epsom salts did you use (and in how much water)? What are the symptoms that have you worried? Can you post a photo of the damage?

Two quick options in my opinion: 1.) Might have over done the Epsom salts - more than a teaspoon or two a gallon would be overkill. If that's the case, flush the pots with water and hope the excess salts get carried out. 2.) Early in the morning, gently rinse the leaves with water to remove excess pesticide residue that may be burning the leaves. Doing this in the morning will allow the leaves to dry during the day and reduce the chance of foliage diseases.

First mistake "upside down tomatoes". I don't like to eat while I'm standing on my head! ;) Sorry couldn't resist! :)
