lots of beautiful green tomatoes, but

no ripe ones yet. Or more accurately- two weeks ago I had 3 tomatoes ripen- 1 Roma and 1 Better Boy and 1 Celebrity. And a handful of Sweet 100s( or whatever the number is.) No mortgage lifters have begun.
Am I just being impatient? Or is there something going on?
I am fighting a blight and I seem to be ahead of it somewhat- picking off the leaves and spraying.

As a novice- I think they look great, albeit crowded and overtowering their 48 in cages, but healthy. Use Tomato Tone. We had gotten about 4 inches of rain a week all summer until a couple of weeks ago which washed out the nutrients. Had my soil tested and it was low in nutrients so I fertilized last week.( I had been all along but the rain was too much) had about an inch more of rain last week.
Should I fertilize again?
I have learned a lot on here for next year.
Any advice?
I edited to add a photo. and the zone disappeared. in case its gone- I am zone 7 MD. and my garden is in the ground.

Your plants look great. In my opinion, it wouldn't be a good idea to add any fertilizer at this point. Fertilizing now will not help with what you want.... Ripe tomatoes. Just keep the water even but not any excess if possible.
Be patient... Looking good though.

Tomatoes need heat and sunshine to ripen ! Many gardeners are complaining of slow ripening this year. the midwest east and southeast U.S. has has a lot of rain and cloudy days and cooler than normal temps . Patience ! Your plants look great !

C....I am assuming your plants are in-ground. If so, ferts are probably not going to help the ripening. However, tomatoes are big drinkers and feeders. In containers....we low-dose feed almost daily! I think you are doing great!

Thanks all for the positive feedback. I will just sit back and practice patience!

I am in Charlotte, NC, and have had record consecutive days of rain and clouds. Tomatoes, squash and crepe myrtles have been real slow to flower and fruit and ripen.
The county to the west of us had 12 inches in several hours today! It only rained 3 inches here today! It has been ridiculous. My grass has weeds in it that have never grown here before.

And of course, it has been in the low 80s this week and it rained again today. building ark now.

I'm having a similar issue. I have three green legend tomatoes on the vine that haven't ripened yet. They've been the same size for at least 10 days now (at least I think so). I grew this plant in a pot. Am I just being impatient?

I have some potted black plum tomatoes that are doing just fine...I'll be harvesting my first few of these within the next day or two.

Send some of that rain this way! Had some this weekend but not much, had an inch last Monday - July has been dry and my blackberries need water!

Keep on keeping on.
You must be doing a great job fighting the blight.

About impatience about ripe fruit, you are not alone . hehe
