Beano looks thrilled with all of his responsibilities. Tell him one more day of ripening would have worked well on those particular fruit. But he may already know that. :-)

lol thanks Dave and yes I should of waited but was so impatient to taste it. :)

Also I wreckin that Beno was the best choice to protect my small tomato village and yesterday he promised me that he will keep an eye out for every bird (big and small) and every varmit including other cats.

He said he made this video a couple years back and during his training he showed me this.

Were you growing Ramapo F1 or the OP version of it, which is about the same.

Definetely adding the Ramapo to my seed list for next year. Were they vine ripened or did you pick them a few days ago? That salad looks delectable.

Thanks all, It is the F1 I got the seeds directly from Rutgers Unv. Carolyn and @ nitegrad yes, I recomend it. I am on my phone so it is hard to type but will show more photos when I get back home

Just got back in this photo there are 2 F1's and a "4th of July" that started to blush. I took this 4th off 2 days ago when it glowed from the others, and the middle ramapo I took off yesterday before I left and the other one I think a few days before but unsure when it blushed.

I am afraid to leave them on the vine because of so many birds in my yard. Also to note they were grown in identicle 20 Galon Fabric containers with 5-1-1 and using MG tomato foord (1.5lbs water soluble).

Also to note the middle F1 Ramapo showed some cracking on the top. I also watered them 2x a day during the heatwave last week.
