 o
Daconil application?

Ok this is going to sound ridiculous but....

I went and bought Daconil because the copper spray wasn't cutting it. There's 2 settings on the bottle, spray and stream. I went with spray. Still basically comes out like a stream. Thinking the sprayer was goofed up, I put the product in an old spray bottle, same thing. Seems like it's so think it won't "spray" out but is more of a direct stream. How are you supposed to apply this without WAY over soaking and not getting even coverage?

buy the concentrate and use a pump sprayer. I think the premix is to thick, might want to thin it out a little with some water.

You have to first Shake very well before spraying and if necessary just dilute it with a bit of water.

Use a sprayer with an adjustable nozzle so that you can direct the spray upwards onto the lower surface of the leaves. That will keep some of the chemical from washing off in the rain and, more importantly, give protection from splash up of spores.

Thanks all! I'm going to dilute a bit and go spray now. These tomatoes are in PITA this year.

EXACTLY that is what I do. And use an adjustable sprayer bottle (can change from mist to stream). This is very handy and you can aim exactly where you want, how much you want. If I had to spray a big field then I would use a gallon pump sprayer.
