| I have been noticing some spotting on lower leaves, mostly on my containered tomatoes. I cut those branches off today as a precaution before things get out of hand. Is this an early sign of blight and did I make the correct decision? The rest of the plants looks fine, its just the lower branches that are affected.

| I would not worry. I have seen those dots on lower leaves. But I think your plant(s) can benefit from some light dose of Nitrogen. |

| njitgrad -- I don't have answer to your ? but I am interested in your containers. 1st I'll say how very tidy your boarder and tomatoes are!! What is your pot? How do you have them staked? Looks like square wire fencing with twine around the stakes as it grows up?? thks |
