Thanks. I don't know why it is happening though. From what I've learned, lack of calcium? Doesn't make sense because all of my containered tomato plants are in the same growing mix and have been fed at the same intervals, yet only three fruit on two plants have been affected. Perhaps because they were the first fruits on those particular plants and since my last feeding things have balanced themselves out so newer fruit is not affected?

Question remains...do I pick them off and toss them? Or will they ripen and still be edible?

It's from inconsistent watering. The plant isn't lacking calcium, it just isn't able to access it. Personally, I would toss the fruit.

Don't worry about that one, bandie! It's just incomplete/odd pollination, related to or a form of catfacing. Perfectly heathy and edible when ripe.

Yes, definitely get rid of the BER tomatoes asap. No sense wasting anymore plant energy on those. So far you are fortunate with only a 'few.' Examine your tomatoes carefully just in case there are more. I hate it when I don't see it until the tomatoes get big, when I could have tossed them a week ago.
