Tomato Slow Growth, Heat or Fruiting?

The pace of the tomato top growth has slowed down quite a bit. I do not know if this is caused by the heat, or by the energy used to produce fruits?

Some of the plants I have are taller than 6' and I had to top pruned them. But some are still 4' and I hope they can continue to grow to top the 5' cage.

Ironic you want them to go to 5 feet but topped off perfectly good 6 footers . Still grow time left ,have you fert them ?

A...isn't it funny how sometimes they just stop growing. I am not sure what to tell you. If you have 5-6 footers...I would say you are doing something right. Keep us posted...
