Tomato Plant Leaf Tips Are Turning Black

Posted by Kamara none (My Page) on

Hi Everyone,

I have some Tomato plants that I am trying to grow, but I have noticed that the leaf tips are turning a dark brown to black. There is no insect problem other than the average garden insects, but nothing is really attacking the plant that I can see.

I don't really want to pull the tomatoes off yet, so does anyone know what is causing this, or how I can help the plant out?

Thanks for all your help everyone...

Kamara

RE: Tomato Plant Leaf Tips Are Turning Black

Black leaf tips is sometimes a result of over=feeding, especially nitrogen. If you have been spraying them with anything that could be a cause too. Otherwise, without seeing the plants, it is just guesses.
