| It is always hard to make comparisons when EVERYTHING is not exactly the same....However, despite a few minor differences in growing medium, etc....I will pass judgement (with some reservations). My Beefmaster is in a marginal sun area, and it has done remarkably better than the Big Boy in 9 hrs sun. I can't speak of fruit quality yet because my first Beef is on the counter. But, the Big Boy turned out to be a stressed-out diseased train wreck. I noticed it does not have the genetic resistance that the Beefmaster has. |

| As you said, its an apples vs. oranges comparison in many ways and likely others have had the opposite results. But whatever works for you is what counts. Personally I take a pass on both varieties. Dave |
