My first ripe tomatoes are going to be....... Those Potato-Leafed Yellow Pears - which apparently cannot be YP as YP has regular leaves (LOL). The fruits are yellow, round and cherries. I can only think that they crossed with Stupice because I don't grow anything else with the PL's. They are really early too because I planted them on May 30th, so 45 days! Now to pick and taste them........ fingers crossed that they aren't spitters (LOL). Linda

Very nice. Ripe tomatoes in Canada in mid-July! I live just on the other side of the lake from you. My first ripe was a Stupice on June 27.

Wow Ed! Stupice for the end of June!!! When did you plant them? I should have grown Stupice again, but was disheartened when they succumbed to some sort of fungal disease last year and decided to give them a miss this year. I was excited about my new early F1 (Yellow Pear derivative) but the taste just wasn't there. Maybe the next ones will taste better, and they might be improve with some seeds left in! I scraped them all out to ferment and save! Linda.

Stupice started from seed 3/15, and planted out 5/1 in WOW. Amazing how they are so predictable for me. Can usually predict within a few days when they will ripen.
