Which varieties are not setting new blossoms, are they indeterminates or determinates?

Carolyn- good question and one I should have thought to answer with my first post. Determinates, I realize, are basically one and done. Most, if not all, of our plants are indeterminate. So they should continuously bloom, right?

Yes, most but not all determinates do have just one blossom cycle.

And yes, your indeterminates should continue to blossom and set fruits until frost kills them in the Fall.

Just b'c I'm curious, which determinate varieties are you growing, just checking since as I said above there are some det that do continue, and if I know your varieties I can comment, if not, my fingers will be taped shut. LOL

It is normal for the plant to put all energy into taking current fruits to completion and skimping on new fruit production for a bit in my experience. If you keep feeding and watering tomatoes and take few ripe ones down, the plant will recharge itself and start new production. Unelss it is cherries of course those are production machine.

You could try picking any fruit that is blushing. That might spur your plants to produce more fruit!
