New to Tomatoes

Okay so I have 4 tomato plants that I received or sprouted from seed this growing season. I have a pink brandywine, a mr stripey (i think that is what it is called) a roma, and some type of determinate plant. this is my first year trying to grow tomatoes and it was terrible. I do not know if it was the variety of tomatoes I have, the hot weather we have been having down here, or what. There was some blooming done about a month ago and there is still no sign of tomatoes. I have a couple of flowers that have green tomatoes about the size of peas but that is it. I fertilized the plants when I planted them in my garden bed and recently fertilized them about a week ago. Should I just pull up the plants and hope for the best next year? Maybe try a different variety next time? Any advice you have will be much appreciated

If you have one, a photo would be nice.

And when did you plant them out? In your zone early planting is required to beat the heat and get fruit set. Once the temps are consistently above 95 you'll only get Blossom Drop.
