Tomato Plant Leaves Yellowing/Curling

I just got an earthbox last weekend and a Big Beef tomato plant to go in it (the other plant in my picture below is a bell pepper). It's been in the earthbox for about 4 days now, and I'm noticing that the leaves are getting a little yellowish and curled up, particularly at the base. I have nothing close to a green thumb - this is my first gardening attempt!

Let me provide some details that may be relevant. I live in San Diego, in Zone 10a. This earthbox is on a second floor east-facing patio, so it gets about 8 hours of sun until the sun passes beyond the crest of the roof, casting the patio in shadow from ~ 3:00 PM onward.

What do you think is happening to the tomato plant? Is this an issue?

I posted some pictures in this imgur: imgur(dot)com/a/Ica7k
