Harvesting from ill affected plants

Good day people,

I have a couple of sweet 100 tomato plants that have been afflicted with either septoria or early blight but I'm leaning towards septoria. Still there are numerous green tomatoes that have been ripening at a regular pace and I've been using them as I usually would. Salads, sauces and in other dishes. They taste and look perfectly normal.
Am I putting myself in harm's way by ingesting fruit from an infected plant or are we impervious to what's affecting them?

Thanks and be well,
elliot

No, we are not susceptible to any tomato foliage pathogens, and same for any of the tomato systemic soil borne ones either.

Thank you Carolyn. I guess I'll have to attribute all of my aches and pains to something else.

If you're serious about having aches and pains that you associate with tomato consumption you should be checked for nightshade allergies. Inflammation and joint pain are common symptoms. Talk to a dr.
