 o
cut yellow branches off an otherwise healthy plant?

In the last couple of weeks I have been noticing branches that are completely yellow (no spots). The four plants (in fabric pots) are between 6 and 8 feet tall. I am still getting new growth on top though.

The Chadwick Cherry and Gardener's Delight have been producing about 10 ripe cherries each per day. My Black Zebra has a ton of nicely sized green fruit with one or two just starting to blush. My Pineapple Heirloom has been sporadically producing but the fruit is starting to turn more orange than yellow, which I don't know if it should be, plus the fruit is not as large as some of the earlier ones I picked.

That being said, I have been cutting off 90% of the yellow branches. About every 2-3 days as more yellow ones appear. Should I be doing this? None of these have any fruit on them.

" BRANCHES" ?? or lieves ??

Tomatoes have compound leaves that may look like a branch, but are not.

Yellowing lower leaves in the dog days of summer(due to dryness, in adequacy of nutrients) is normal. The plants abort the older leaves that are inefficient. (Even some trees do this)

Mostly entire branches that contain all yellow leaves.

I'm pretty sure the "branch" being referenced is a compound leaf.

I've been cutting the yellowed/dead ones off of my plants

You might as well remove the yellow, I do. They will never be green again, and the plant is done with them.
