| I have possibly a variety of tomatoe that came from Calabrie,Italy sometime around the 1970's.i got some of the seed from a guy I work with that got the tomatoes from a farmers market and saved the seeds. He was told by the farmer that he was told they were called Tomatoe rocky.I currently have one of these growing in my garden.I have found forums on here about it.Does anyone here have any info on what the true name is for this variety of tomatoe? Thanks to all that may be able to help me out. |

| Below is the page from Tania's website about Rocky and the name is Rocky. If you click on seed availability you'll see two places that are selling seeds for 2014. It was first listed in the SSE Yearbook in 1985 so it's been around for quite a few years, Note in Tania's history that she says some think it's from Calabria, but I've not seen any info that it is, although probably it is. ( smile) Hope that helps, Carolyn |
