Unpollinated or pollinated?

Please excuse my bad english, I'm French and I finally decided to post my problem because I've been trying to find a solution for a couple of months now. I have three plants, one of them is from the "Cerise" or "Cherry" variety and the other two are "Coeur de Boeuf". I started them in March and planted them in late May and I haven't seen any fruit set since then. At first all of the blossoms dropped and now the petals are falling leaving just the unpollinated (I mean, I don't really know if it's pollinated or not, I've never seen anything like this before) tiny ovary:

I thought all of them were going to stay like that and eventually drop but I checked the plants this morning and this is what i found:

The Cherry plant has the exact same problem but these seem pretty normal to me:

I'm going to let them grow to see what happens, I believe this is quite interesting actually. Are they going to be edible? Have you ever seen this happen before?

They look like little tomatoes to me!

I'm guessing that the round ones are cherry tomatoes and the funny-shaped ones are coeur de boeuf.

The blossom may have dropped off earlier in the season because of all the high temperatures that we had in July - that's assuming that you live in Quebec or Ontario.

Bon Jour !
Your English is fine.
About your inquiry , YES, those are tomatoes growing.
When You have a tomato growing, that indicates the flower has been pollinated. NO POLLINATION, NO TOMATO.

The top picture looks like what I have on my plants, but they NEVER get past that point. I've never had that issue before. It's like they just give up in our heat (I'm in Texas). Lucky you! Wish mine would get past the 'ovary stage'-- grrr!

Enjoy!

The first four pictures are of a "heart" tomato which "Coeur de Boeuf certainly is. So everything is absolutely normal. That is how they should look at this early stage in their growth. They're also quite healthy looking.

Congratulations, that's some nice gardening and good photography.
