Has anyone here tried baking soda for powdery mildew?

I have discovered at least a dozen leaflets with little white patches on them. I looked it up and I am pretty sure that it is powdery mildew...but before I run out and spend $$$ on commercial fungicides, if I bother at all...

Has anybody here had success using baking soda? It appears to come highly recommended (online) but it is my experience that home remedies will tend to, at best, do nothing...and are sometimes even harmful. This is especially true online where everybody is copy-pasting and re-tweeting anything which comes their way. So what do you guys think?

Potassium bicarb works a bit better but sodium bicarb works to some degree if you diligent. You can also try milk about 1 to 2 dilution, as well as vinegar 3 tbsp to gal of water, mouthwash 1 to 3 parts etc
Neem oil helps as well.

Alright, I guess I'll just give it a shot then. Thanks.
