So after I had a run in with an adorable little tomato thief, I figured he couldn't finish this Paul Robeson all by himself. This was picked the next day after I thought it might have been breaking, I waited another day and it was definitely turning.

After laughing and letting my little guy munch on this for a while, he was devouring it too BTW, I decided to have a bit myself, thinking it must not taste all that great for him. WRONG!

This was hands down the best tomato I have ever put in my mouth! How could this be? I have a fully ripe one on the counter to try later to see if it's just the PR's that hit my palate so well, or if it was actually because it was under ripe, I'll have to get back to you all on that one.

Has anyone else eaten a tomato after breaker but not really fully ripe?

I have to say, even though the fully ripe one I just ate was pretty good, it wasn't like the under ripe one. Now I have to eat an under ripe one from each of the varieties I have grown.
