identifying several problems: part 2

I have several plants with varying problems, so I'll post each problem as a separate conversation. Here is the second:

Super Sweet 100, in a pot. About 50 days old. No ripe fruit yet, but lots forming and many flowers. The leaves closest to the ground originally had small speckles, but now they have formed into holes (pictured below). I can't find any insects or eggs on the leaves, but I did find many small insects on the bottom of leaves further up the plant (pictured below). Those leaves were unharmed though. Sometimes I've seen a light powder on the lower leaves, which I assumed was pollen from the flowers above. Today for the first time I noticed tiny black dust (maybe spores?) on the lower branches. I don't have any pictures of the light and dark dust (whatever it is).

Are the insects pictured a problem? Did they cause the holes lower on the plant, even though I didn't find them down there? Any other thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks!
