| Yesterday, I spotted flea beetles on my tomatoes. They were all on the leaves. My question is do flea beetles ever attack the tomato fruit or do they stick only to leaves and stems? I have weird holes in 3 of my tomato fruit. I am thinking the two may be unrelated. The holes are about the size of a pencil eraser but are shallow. None of the insides of the tomato are eaten or tunneled through. If flea beetles ever eat tomato fruit, are there any pics out there? I could compare them to mine. Thanks! |

| As far as I know from my experience , FLEA BEETLES don't bother with tomatoes. Their favorites are eggplants and peppers. Even on those, the damage is only crucial in the small seedling stage and nothing serious on the established plants. |
