No beauty contest winners, but they taste really good.

From top left going clockwise; Red Brandywine, Brandywine Sudduth, Rutgers, Cherokee Purple, and Stupice.

Still waiting for the elusive Hawaiian Pineapple, but there are a couple of monsters just starting to blush.

Very nice harvest, ED. Enjoy the fruit of your labor.
I have been harvesting only Early girl, Roma, and lots of super 100s. Can't complain. Waiting on Black Krim and Brandywine.

Congrats! What's your favorite as far as taste?

Thanks for asking. Generally like anything sweet, but for interesting flavor it has to be Brandywine Sudduth and then Cherokee Purple. Only a novice grower though and have not tasted 99.9% of the thousands out there.

So jealous! Lots of green fruit here nothings even blushing there in a raised bed. Where in CNY are you we're mile from exit 29. Best year I've ever had for peppers so the seasons not a total bust.

This is the first time I've tried Brandywine. I grew them from seeds. None harvested yet, but the fruit looks promising. Can't wait. :)

What do you think about the Stupice and Rutgers? I am growing both for the first time. Stupice was the first one to ripen but it was sort of "meh" as far as taste goes - not sure whether I would grow them again. Rutgers have set lots of fruit but nothing ripe yet.
