For the last 5 years or so Wes has been our favorite heart tomato. Any other suggestions for heart shaped tomatoes to grow along with this variety?

Ukrainian Heart. Delicious and meaty. Can't say it was super productive but it's been another strange growing season. But the fruits have been great. Anna Russian was basically a disaster this year.

While I do think that Wes is really great heart tomato, I have not seen many hearts I did not like. Wes is late for zone 5 and stingy with production, worth growing but there are plenty of other hearts out there.

Here is a link that might be useful: Heart shaped tomatoes

Others I have grown in addition to Wes and are worthy would include:
Anna Marie Heart (red, mid-late)
Everett's Rusty Oxheart (bicolor, inside & out, mid-late)
Fish Lake Oxheart (red, mid)
Prue (red, mid-late... great variation in size)

This year I grown Bychie Serdse Rozovoye, Kermit, Alice, Mayo Delight, Fresa, Grighmire Pride, Sereginy, Kosovo, Tsar Kolokol, Orange strawberry, Vova Putin, Zolotye Kupola. Bychie Serdse and Kermit were earliest to produce, Sereginy had half beefs and half hearts. Mayo Delight started at 70 days and just got yesterday some perfect hearts again, really surprise considering Tania listing it as late one.
Except Zolotye Kupola which I found to be pretty bland to taste but good for cooking they were all of great taste and are keepers.
The only problem I have there is another dozen to try next year LOL

I am in SW PA and Wes is very early for me beating out many of the "early" varieties. It is always first to ripen for me and produces very large yields. I would like to find a similar heart shaped tomato with a little different flavor just for some variety.

RE: Similar to Wes????

I just posted a long list of hearts that I like, off the top of my head, so not complete, the list, not my brain,LOL,in the thread titled What Meaty Tomatoes, above, I tried to cut and paste it tohere, but that didn't work, so if anyone is interested thay can go to that thread and read.

And I think the variety that can be most closely compared with Wes is Russian #117 which is a red double flat heart.

Pink Honey is a heart that ripens very early, has great production and has a very pleasant zingy taste.
