Growing Tomatoes

Weird insects eating tomato plant

I posted these a while in the pests and diseases forum but unfortunately I got no answer of what are they. I found them initially in my sunflower plants but I've seen a few in my tomato plants(not many of them, they don't seem to be so attracted to tomato plants, they seem to like way more the sunflower leaves)

Anyway I just wanted to know what are they, they appear from one day to another and they just completely destroy the leaves.

This is what they usually do with my plants ... the tomato leaves don't look so damaged as these but they still manage to kill them once in a while.

Leafminers. If it's only a few leaves and the plant is large enough you can just pick off the affected leaves and dispose of them. If it's a lot of leaves or a small plant you might try squishing them with your fingers (while wearing gloves if you want).
