Been a good season for me

I had the biggest tomatoes this season, and the most on each plant. Not sure what was different. Some of the seeds I started with were older, as last year was so bad I hardly saved anything...The surprise was I had a few Box Car Willies and this is from an old seed. It never gave me a tomato in the past. Lots of cracking on most due to too much rain and then drought and then over watering..but so pleased. I did pull all the plants out this week, most had no leaves left,
they turned brown and crumbled. Some stored in the dark for
late ripening...and I did get to save some I guess I will do this all again in the spring..;-> Martha/Zucchini

Glad to hear the planets finally aligned for you Martha. I too had a fantastic tomato and pepper year. From 450 tomato plants, I picked around 4000 pounds of tomatoes. I'm still harvesting peppers, they have not slowed down yet.

I have a few small hot pepper plants, really small and lots of red hot peppers from them..
When I was younger I threw coins for my fortune using the 'I Ching' many times it said. "perseverance brings good fortune" True as we learn in time...cheers Martha/Zucchini
