Still going strong in NJ

This pic which was taken today shows about 25% of fruit I currently have ripening off the plants. The larger ones are between 14-18oz. I have about 30 bags or so frozen for cooking so far and have been eating appx. 6 per day on average.
2014 was/is a SOLID TOMATO SEASON! Never any spray!

How would you rate your 2014 overall Tomato harvest up to this point?

The cherry tomotos, sweet 100 and Husky cherry, have gone wild. I had to pinch them or they will grow to 10' tall.

The regular size ones are doing ok, not as good as last year's.

I do not spray, do not fertilize and do not water them as often as I should. So I think they can be better.

Still going strong but not a good production year overall for me.

It's supposed to cool down for a few days next week, 57f evenings. I'm hoping that it warms up soon after.

My plants are still very green with minimal trimming needed this season.

Steve.

Looks great! I have a friend nearby whose harvest looks that good. My large toms are having trouble but I am pretty sure with a few more preventative measures for fungal diseases I could be better. You live and you learn.

Greatest tomato year ever here at Jersey shore south.

Greatest summer weather pattern. Not one heat wave, sufficient rain, healthy winds.

Hoping for same next year !!!!!!!!!!!

This little guy popped up in the yard mid season and fruits are now turning color. I did not plant any cherry or paste types this year but have been overloaded with them.
I am still picking full size fruit and have about 30-40 ripening on kitchen counter. :-)

Today I visited my local community garden. The tom plants are not doing so great. The lower leaves (about 2' and lower) fell and the tomatos are very small. But the cherry tomatos are still going wild, but with even smaller fruits.

I do not know if this is normal, or the plants are not watered enough, or they should rotate the beds more often. I do not see any obvious diseases....
