Backward tomatoes

I have planted very early tomatoes for fall in hope of getting fruit for awhile. Most are determinate, which I don't usually plant, but I really need some fresh tomatoes.Since some of these set fruit at low temperatures & we are headed that way, it makes sense to me. Got both Siberia & Siberian, Northern Delight, Sub Arctic Plenty, Manitoba, Nepal et al. Giraffe is a little later, but a long keeper--hope it's at least edible cuz I like the name. These are for outside & a couple for the greenhouse and the kitchen, too.

Anyone have experience with doing it backwards? Yes, I read archives. I will sincerely appreciate input.
