Can I do anything?

My tomatoes are about gone, but I have a few green ones out in my raised beds. I have noticed that after bringing them in to finish ripening that they are turning b ad without completely finishing the process. Is there some reason for this or am I not doing something right.? I would like to have some farther into the Fall..Thanks for any tips. Barb

Is there late blight in your area? Do the tomatoes have tough leathery patches at the top by the stem? If it's not that...you might have picked them too soon...they need to get to a certain size to ripen properly.
