Pretty cold this Sunday morning across the US of A.

    Today Sunday, November 2, 2014: 51â F / 36â Fâ¦

Reason enough to call it END OF SEASON.

So, I picked up - almost - everything.

I think the temp can go lower than 36' F.

I left a few to see how they will look like if lower 30s.

76 for a high here. That was above normal 63/41 on Friday. We had an early frost on Nov. 2 so everything is dead except for the winter crops of broccoli, kale, salsify and tat tsoi.

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE !

    So right now - 10 pm - we have 35' F, and RealFeel... 17' F.

    17 ???

I never saw such a big difference - 17' F - between Real temperature and Real feel...

I think it might be a mistake.

    I mean, tomorrow there will be 40' F vs. 37' F RealFeel.

    That - 3 ' F - is acceptable. 17' F... not really.

Low to mid 70's all week here! Yippee! You must live at the bottom of the state to be that warm. I used to live about 30 miles from the NY/Pa border.

Hi Daniel. Wishing you an early spring .

Up here in PNW, it is kinda "Springy". Highs ~ 50F. And of course we have not seen any snow, high winds .. what so ever. November was our coldest month so far, temps dropping to low 20s.
But then we get a looottt of drizzling rain.

Off Topic a bit: On the tomatoes:
I will start my seeds around late Feb. BTW. I got Brandy Boy seeds. So watch out. hehe. We'll see how it does in my garden.

It has been a while that nobody reported weather , in this forum.
Where is Daniel ? How is the weather in LoAng Island ?

Up here in PNW, we have been having incredible weather in FEB. The highs reaching 60F, and lows around 40F. This is more like our April weather. Probably it won't last too long. Our LFD is almost 2 months away.

So , how is your FEB weather ?

Thursday in the 20s, could be the last freeze. Really has been a yo-yo. Lows: 50s tonight, 40s Tuesday, 30s Wednesday, 20s Thursday, 30s Friday, 40s Saturday, etc. Probably we'll have one one even two more freezes the way things are between then and March 15. As usual, I am wishing I started two weeks sooner, always too conservative :)

Supposed to be between -5 and -10 a couple of nights this week here. For mid-February that is just insane. Juicy maters seem very far away. :(

I agree, have been freezing my "buns" all week. It is 7 now but was -4 last night. I'm getting the itch to start plants but will wait until March 15th.

Awful here. Below freezing for whole month, and more snow on the ground than I can remember. Below 0 every night. Endlessssssssssssss!!!!!!!! The sun is very bright today though, and the sun line is almost to our back deck again. Gaining 3 minutes per day. Thumbs up.

Amazing ! Even Florida is getting freezing weather.
It seems that the Eastern half of the US is having tough time. Although our winers here are not severely cold but the kind of weather we are having is out of the norm.
Hang in there, folks ! Springs always come. This could be the last ditch effort of the old man winter. But he will be defeated by the forces of spring.
