Tomato plants in Alabama

| I just have a quick question for Alabama growers.
I have a computer guru friend that was down in Anniston/Oxford, Alabama on business a week or so ago and he was telling me that a grocery store (Winn-Dixie I think) had tomato and pepper plants for sale.
Do you grow these outdoors this time of year or is it an indoor thing? Just wondering? |

| Not an Alabama grower, sorry, apparently none around. But yes I suppose it would be possible in far southern Alabama to still grow outside. Should still be warm enough. I still have some plants going here outside but not for much longer. Dave |

| We're on the same latitude as Anniston/Oxford here in Atlanta, and I can tell you that no, it's too late to grow tomato/peppers here this time of year. It would definitly be an indoor thing at this point. |

| If you cannot find a local source, Garden Harvest Supply is where we purchase our tomato and pepper plants. |
