Heirloom Tomatoes

I am planning on trying my first year at planting heirloom tomatoes. I currently sell to a restaurant and caterer and they are after me to try them. I unfortunately have not had the best of luck in years past but this summer I had huge success on cherry tomatoes (all different colours and varieties).
I would really appreciate some input as to what varieties you have had success with. My criteria is different colours, crack resistant, prolific and also have them growing all season. Not too much to ask?! This is not cherry tomatoes but regular size.
Thanks so much.

The discussion a bit further down the page called 2010 list has lots of good suggestions in it. Many other discussions here in the past that a search using 'favorite' will pull up for you if you want to read through them.

Otherwise Brandywine, Cherokee Purple, Rutgers, Black Krim, Kentucky Breakfast, Aunt Ruby's German Green, Arkansas Traveler, Opalka, etc. are frequently recommended by folks here.

Good luck with your plans.

Heirlooms are probably my favorite tomatoes to grow because they are tried, true, and very tasty! Try some of these heirloom tomatoes.
