Does anyone have any opinions on the taste of these guys? Thinking about planting for next year.

I grew Lemon Drop last year and found it rather tart and very prone to cracking. My dog thought they were excellent.

I grew them as well. My hubby LOVED them and requested them again next year... He even brought me a few and asked how to save the seeds. Talk about shock!

Anyway, it grew a huge bushy plant and yes to the cracking (thin skins)but once they got to the crank point they were quite a bit sweeter, but still not like a sweet 100 or any of those.

Sounds like they are very tart from what I have read... not sure I will like. I was thinking about planting them b/c I want to grow a yellow/orange tomato, and these have blight resistance.

I hope to try Ambrosia Gold from J&L Seeds next year. I want to see how it performs against Sungold F1.

Sungold sounds like a good one to try, maybe I will try that.

If you haven't tried it, you'll be in for a pleasant experience. It really is tasty, as well as prolific. Too bad it's a hybrid and we cannot save seeds!
