Is this fungus?

Hi everyone,

Please bear with me... I am a complete tomato newbie and even that's stretching it. (The only thing I'd successfully grown in the past was wheatgrass for the cats.)

I noticed a small spot on one of my tomato leaves a few days ago. I'm thinking maybe... some sort of fungus? It doesn't look like powdery mildew though. Could it be blight? The spot is pretty tiny but I don't want it to affect the other plants.

I bottom-water but have watered from the top several times, using a spoon taking care not to wet the foliage. I live in the tropics (Indonesia) where there are lots of rain year-round, but to make it worse, we're in the middle of rainy season. My tomatoes are in containers outside on the terrace under roofing but they do get splashed on when it's windy as well as raining.

If it is fungus, I know that I'm supposed to remove the leaves? But should I remove the whole stem or just the leaf affected?

Thanks. :)

Nissa
