tomato hornworm vs Insect Barrier?

I've been doing some research and so far this sounds like a good idea tell me what you think the hornworm moths lay eggs on the tomato plant so in theory an Insect Barrier say the "Agribon+ AG-15 Insect Barrier" google for details should stop them and with 90% light transmission it should let in enough light for the plants especially since last year they got sun burnt and tomatoes being self pollinating I shouldn't have to worry about keeping out pollinating insects.

RE: tomato hornworm vs Insect Barrier?

how big is this thing? Tomatoes get very large, especially indeterminate. It sounds like it is a viable, but very cost inefficient solution to a problem.

I've never had a lot of problems with the hornworm (knock wood), but I don't know if this is actually worth the cost.
