Tomato Pests & Diseases

I read they are good bugs. However, last two seasons my potted tomato plants were doing great, then one day these little orange red bugs were all over the plants and then my little tomatoes began shriveling up. There were many of these bugs on my plants. How can they be good if the tomatoes get bad after they arrive?

Other nymphs resemble them.
Do you have images? If so, perhaps someone here can help ID them.
