two plants one cup

I have two cherry tomato sprouts in one cup. Didn't think they would have both sprout. I would hate to ripped the little one out. I only have these two sprouts so far. I'm going to try and wait until the smaller one gets bigger and separate?

In such instances, I keep both until I plant out in a few weeks, then wait a week or so in order that the plants "tell" me which is the weakest grower. At that time, SNIP, off w/ the weakling's head!
